Dominic Willoughby

Sarah and I had our first child on Monday night (Aug 10th)! Sarah is incredible. She wanted to have the birth naturally so she didn't get an epidural. She started having intense contractions around 8:30 am and labored 14 hours using the Bradley method of relaxation . At 10:30pm the obgyn insisted that the labor wasn't progressing at all and that a c-section would be necessary. Apparently Sarah has what the doctor called "little boy hips".  It gets kind of technical...

Obviously a c-section is not what Sarah wanted but it worked out for the best. The delivery at that point was quick and everything went very smoothly. At 11:27 pm a beautiful, healthy boy was born! His name is Dominic and he's 7 lbs 11 oz and 22.5 inches long. Some how I was able to snap a couple pics of everything that happened and I put it into a little slideshow. Don't worry, there isn't anything too graphic. It's just a little 5 minute video so hopefully it's done loading by now. If it isn't FULLY loaded, just keep waiting. It's kind of annoying if it starts and then stops 20 times.

Thanks for checking in, everyone, and for keeping us in your thoughts.

Joe & Jane Marie

Hello blog followers. Greetings. There is still no baby Willoughby. The due date was last Wednesday so....yeah...we're running kind of late. Thanks for your thoughts and/or prayers though. I'll be sure to update the blog with a flood of imagery as soon as possible.

For those of you who stopped by for some mind-blowing photographs instead of a baby update: I have something for you too.

Jane Marie and Joe. Wow. This was one of the most amazing weddings I've ever been to. See for yourself....

here's one gigantic post to make up for missing the past couple months

hey guys, if you're still out there then I think you deserve a really great post. i haven't avoided blogging because of laziness and i have been busy but that's not the reason either. i was testing your loyalty. i'm happy to say that you've passed. you are now in the circle of trust and i will reward you with 81 of my faves from the last couple months. I still have about 5 photoshoots and as many weddings in the works so I'll get those up here sometime in the next decade. maybe sooner... hope everyone in blog land is doing great. keep spreading the word about timwill photography. if there's anyone out there that can hook me up with a Europe wedding I'll give you something really cool. a high five. ..and maybe some free photography. i can keep sweetening the deal, just let me know what it'll take.

PS; in other news, baby Willoughby is due in 8 weeks. IT's a BOY. If you have any name suggestions send them my way. I've got a few ideas which i might post later but in the meantime, leave me a comment with your best name. we need first and middle : _ __ _ _ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ Willoughby
