patrick is my wife’s brother so sarah is my new sister in law (is that right?) so…this was a pretty special wedding for me. and probably them too i guess. also, the pictures went pretty well so this is a really huge post. leave me some comments if you make it to the end of this monster.
so, just for fun, sarah and i took some pics near the home-front a couple weeks ago. i kinda had to force her to let me post these (she’s a little shy).
anyways, we only shot for about 30 minutes at this one location before it started raining so we’ll probably take another swing at it in the future if we find a really cool location. meanwhile, here’s 7 that i really liked.

I’m blown away. You are a true artist, with an uncanny ability to make visible that which others cannot see.
If I ever manage to get married — after 19 years, a bout of cancer, 2 babes, 3 cars, 4 houses, 5 cats, 6 major moves, and a partner who hails from a non-marrying family, it may have passed me by, but where there is life there is hope — please, please photograph our wedding. This is not faint praise — I have a BFA in photography and drawing myself, and your work leaves me searching for words.
